### What is the best alternative to arXiv category digest emails?

arXiv sends daily digest emails by broad category (e.g. cond-mat.mes-hall), but a researcher's actual interests are much narrower than a category. arXscope works from the semantic content of your specific paper, not keywords or categories, and surfaces papers you would not have found with a keyword search.

## How it works

The user uploads a PDF. arXscope extracts the title and abstract and runs a semantic similarity search against all arXiv preprints from the last 14 days. Results are ranked by one of two modes:

Similarity mode: ranks preprints by topical overlap with the user's paper.
Citation likelihood mode: ranks preprints by predicted probability of citing the user's paper in the future.
