About CADCraft

CADCraft is a free, open-source computer-aided design application for accurate 2D drafting and technical documentation. Built from scratch in pure Rust and GPU-rendered, it offers an AutoCAD-style workflow without subscriptions or account registration. It is designed for architects, engineers, students, educators, makers, and technical designers. Its command-line interface supports LINE, PLINE, CIRCLE, ARC, RECTANG, OFFSET, TRIM, FILLET, HATCH, and DIMLINEAR, with object snaps, polar tracking, orthographic drawing, autocomplete, command history, aliases, and repeated commands. CADCraft supports layers, dimensions, multileaders, tables, hatches, paper-space layouts, plotting, DWG and DXF workflows, and exports to PDF, SVG, and PNG. It runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, FreeBSD, and the web through WebAssembly, and includes MCP, JSON, and headless CLI tools for AI-assisted automation. Released under the MIT or Apache-2.0 licenses.
