About GoSafeHome
GoSafeHome is a Swiss iOS prevention app being prepared for a controlled national pilot. When someone starts their journey home and does not want to be alone, the app connects them with an available, approved volunteer companion through an in-app real-time VoIP audio connection. Private phone numbers are not exchanged.
Live location sharing is optional and can be enabled only by the person being accompanied during an active session. Conversations are not recorded. The SOS function informs only the active companion; it does not automatically contact police or emergency services.
The planned Swiss pilot is designed for 200–500 voluntary test participants. GoSafeHome is not an emergency, police, rescue or crisis service and cannot guarantee safety.
Built in Switzerland, with the long-term ambition to grow responsibly alongside local partners and within appropriate legal and safety frameworks.
