About ChatToPdf

ChatToPDF - Turn Your WhatsApp Chats into Clean PDFs

Ever tried to save a WhatsApp chat and got stuck with that ugly .txt file that's impossible to read? Yeah, we've all been there. ChatToPDF fixes that mess by turning your WhatsApp exports into actually readable, nice-looking

PDFs.

Why We Built This

WhatsApp's export feature is honestly terrible. You get this jumbled text file that looks like garbage and is basically useless if you need to show it to anyone or keep it for anything important. Whether you're trying to save

sweet family conversations, document some business chat, or just want to archive memories properly, WhatsApp's default export is not it.

How It Actually Works

Just export your WhatsApp chat like normal, upload the file to us, and we'll turn it into a PDF that doesn't suck. We've got three options depending on what you need - Basic for $15 if you just want clean text, Standard for $35

with media placeholders and better styling, or Premium for $60 that makes it look super professional (great if you need it for legal stuff or business).

The Tech Stuff (But Not Boring)

We built this with Next.js and TypeScript because we wanted it fast and reliable. Our parser is pretty smart - it figures out all the weird ways WhatsApp formats dates and messages, keeps everything in order, and makes sure

nothing gets lost. Then we use some fancy PDF generation to make it look good instead of like a computer threw up text onto a page.

People Actually Use This

We've got over 12,000 people who've used ChatToPDF and they seem to really like it (4.9/5 stars). Turns out lots of people have the same problem with WhatsApp exports - families saving conversations, small businesses keeping

records, people dealing with legal stuff, or just anyone who wants their chats to look presentable.

What's Next

WhatsApp has like 2 billion users and pretty much everyone has conversations they'd want to save properly at some point. We're working on bulk processing for people with tons of chats, better customization options, and maybe

expanding to other messaging apps because honestly, they all have the same export problems.

The Business Side

Simple pay-per-use model - you only pay when you actually convert something. No subscriptions, no weird fees, just straightforward pricing. As more people realize how bad default chat exports are, we're seeing steady growth from

word-of-mouth recommendations.

It's basically solving a super common, annoying problem that everyone just accepted as normal until now.
