About PDFops
PDFops is a hosted HTTP API for the PDF work that keeps getting reinvented: fill AcroForm fields, merge documents, generate invoices. No headless Chromium and no native dependencies, so it runs anywhere a fetch call does, including Vercel, Cloudflare Workers, Lambda, Deno Deploy and Bun. Fills are byte-deterministic, which is what makes them testable in CI: same input, same bytes. There is an MCP server too, so agents can call it over stdio without a key.
✦ Good to know
- Free tier allows 100 requests per IP per month with no key, or 250 requests per month with a free API key.
- Six endpoints: fill-form, merge, inspect, invoice, signup and usage quota check.
- An MCP server is available for Claude Code via npx pdfops-mcp, with an n8n workflow option.
- Paid plans start at $16/mo for 4,000 requests, with hard stop at quota limits (429 responses).
