About Knowl
Knowl is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) memory server for Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex, with Knowl Cloud providing shared memory for entire AI coding teams. It gives agents persistent memory across sessions and syncs project knowledge across teammates, repositories, and agents, so decisions, discoveries, constraints, and lessons don't get lost.
Unlike basic memory systems that keep piling up old facts, Knowl uses write-time supersession to automatically retire outdated knowledge when your project changes. Knowledge is structured with types, provenance, and conflict handling, helping agents retrieve the most current and reliable context.
The result: your agents stop starting from zero, your team stops repeating itself, and everyone stays in sync with the latest state of the project.
One shared brain. Every AI. Any session. Always current.
