About Lembic

Turn any conversation into a clean, compact file for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc., then ask it anything. See what years of conversation can tell you. You are sitting on years of iMessage history with no real way to use it: Apple gives you no clean export, PDF exporters were built for paper and blow past an AI's context limit, and the apps that promise analysis run their own AI on your private messages, on their servers. Lembic takes a different path. It reads the Messages history already synced to your Mac and turns any thread, whole or by date range, into a token-efficient transcript an AI can actually read, handling reactions, timestamps, and attachments cleanly instead of dumping noise.

One click copies the conversation, or the conversation plus a ready-made prompt, so you can paste it straight into your own ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini account and ask. Because these are your most personal conversations, safety is built in: Lembic flags passwords, account numbers, and one-time codes as you read, so you can redact them before anything leaves your Mac, and you stay the final reviewer. Nothing is ever uploaded, because there is no server and no account; the export engine is open source, and Lembic is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
