only-eu.eu is a curated directory of European alternatives to popular US brands. Every product listed is incorporated in the EU or a European country, GDPR-native by default, and free of US jurisdiction.

The idea started from a simple frustration: when you search for "best password manager" or "best VPN", every result is an American company subject to the Cloud Act. The same goes for footwear, smartphones, food delivery, furniture, and more. There are great European options in almost every category, but they are hard to find and even harder to compare.

only-eu.eu covers 28 categories including cloud storage, email, VPN, productivity, smartphones, fashion, navigation, and more. Products are verified manually before listing. The site is fully static, no tracking, no cookies, no ads.

Built with Astro, hosted on Bunny.net (Slovenia). The entire product database lives in a single TypeScript file, so adding a new product means one PR and a deploy.

Currently listing 70+ verified European products across 28 categories, with a "Switch from X" grid on the homepage that lets visitors discover EU alternatives to Google Maps, Dropbox, Notion, PayPal, Timberland, and others.
